In the year 2004, the Lord laid a burden in the heart of Obed Kure concerning the youths. It was that burden that gave birth to the mandate of raising youths who will be on fire for God by availing themselves to the service of God and humanity by living the life and setting the standard.
It is in response to this divine mandate that the Christian Youth Aflame Network was founded after approaching some young people in January 2005, after sharing the burden and vision God has laid in my heart it was as if God had prepared them for the same task ahead of time.
The first meeting took place on the 9th of January 2005 with about 13 young
and committed Christian youths who all left that meeting with a single purpose “to live the life and set the standard”. Since then C.Y.A.N has been impacting lives positively with the message of the kingdom through fellowships, conferences and divinely inspired publications
